It is with great sadness that I share that the mother of the late Susan Osborne Symmonds passed away last Sunday at the ripe age of 97.  She will be laid to rest on Wednesday, 22 February 2023 at 11 am.

She is survived by her granddaughters Erika and Tiana Symmonds, and her great granddaughter, Satiya Symmonds Chandy.

Mrs. Osbourne, Aunt Elaine to many, was appreciated by the HCQC alumni as she graciously welcomed them into her home in Brooklyn when Susan, who passed away some 17 years ago, was on the executive of HCQCAA, USA. Walter Edey recalls the wonderful meals she prepared as members worked away preparing for various events. Mrs. Osbourne, herself an alumna of QC, was recognized for her support of the Association during one of the Night of Stars events in the mid-1990s.
